This is a yarn kit consisting of both the Fleur Élise Socks and Mittens patterns and enough yarn to knit both patterns

Norwegians like to relax by enjoying the outdoors. Our mittens are therefore essential to keep our hand warm and toasty and that is why I decided to team up with a talented Norwegian designer to bring you these beautiful mittens. The pattern that Carina designed is the beautiful Fleur Élise Mittens that will match perfectly with her Fleur Élise Sock pattern too, so you can have cozy hands and toes this winter season. I hope you will enjoy creating your own Norwegian inspired mittens and socks and that you will be transported to a happy, peaceful, joy-filled magical place as we are when we adventure outdoors or staying warm and cozy inside.

Listing is for 1 x Fleur Élise Norwegian Mitten and Sock Kit consisting of:

2 x 100g skeins 

1 x Printed Pattern in either English or Norwegian depending on your choice.

Yarn Base : Trollfjord sock    

Composition: 80% Wool / 20% Polyester

Yarn weight: Fingering

Yarn length:

 100g = 350m/380 yards            50g = 175m/190yards

Guage : 10cm= 24-26 sts

Recommended needle size: 2,5mm - 3,5mm (1.5 - 4 US)

Trollfjord sock base is durable enough for socks yet soft enough to use for shawls, hats, mittens and garments or even children´s clothing. It contains non-superwash wool but you can still machine wash on a wool program at 30 degrees with a detergent specifically for wool. However I always prefer to handwash my knitwear in general. Dry flat and do not tumble dry. I have used professional acid dyes and thoroughly washed and rinsed this yarn with a gentle wool wash detergent. I do however recommend washing items separately for the first couple of washes as very minimal colour bleeding may occur.
